A series of works on paper in which organic form, animal body, trace and gestural density become unstable fields of perception.
Sus Scrofa works with the tension between body, animal form and abstract field. The title refers to the wild boar, but the images do not function as naturalistic depictions.
Within the archive, the series belongs to the material and perceptual line of Florian Mehnert's practice: nature is not represented as motif alone, but investigated as a structure of observation, movement and trace.
