Musicians of the Stuttgarter Philharmoniker appear as isolated sound bodies within a transparent spatial boundary.
The photographic series transfers the experience of pandemic distance to collective music-making. The individual body is protected and separated, yet remains part of a larger social and performative structure.
The work makes visible how public life, culture and ensemble practice become readable anew under conditions of isolation.
